We are looking to expand our team with the addition of a part-time Funeral Assistant who will help us to consistently deliver a first-class service to the local community. If you have a mature work ethic, are good with people and understand the importance of dignity, care and compassion, a role in our rewarding sector could be your next move. This position is 15-20 hours per week (approximately).

Duties:

• Ensure our fleet of funeral vehicles are presented to the highest standard

• Assist with the conveyance of the deceased from hospitals, nursing homes and private houses with dignity and compassion

• Assist at funeral services including driving and bearing

• Participation in the out of hours on-call evening and weekend rota (24 hours)

• Heavy lifting is required
