Fundraising Coffee Morning

On Wednesday 9th October we held a fundraising coffee morning at our funeral home on Chapel Street, Inverness, and were thrilled to raise £481.00!

This was part of our fundraising efforts in the lead up to Highland Hearts of Gold - an event which brings together four fantastic local charities - Marie Curie, the Highland Hospice, Macmillan Cancer Support and Maggie's Highlands. Highland Hearts of Gold will take place in February at the Drumossie Hotel.  During the event four brave ambassadors from each charity will take to the catwalk to share their stories of living with illness, dealing with grief and the celebration of life and survival. This event will highlight the services available across the Highlands, helping people access the care they so deserve as well as raising much needed funds for four charities in the process.

Vicki will be speaking on behalf of Marie Curie about her personal experience of this wonderful charity who supported her in her dad's final days. Vicki's son Marcus will be there to support his mum and will take to the catwalk in memory of his grandad.

If you weren't able to join us for our coffee morning, but would like to make a donation or learn more about Highland Hearts of Gold, please follow the link below:
