About Us
Since established in Inverness in 1884, John Fraser & Son has always been a family-run business, committed to offering personal, professional funeral services to the community. In 2013, we opened our new funeral home in Dingwall, in addition to our premises in Inverness.
The current proprietor is Vicki Fraser, who took over the business from her father, Ian Fraser, in 2014. She carries on the work of the preceding generations, maintaining the traditionally high standards of service excellence, and taking a pro-active approach to social change and business development, introducing new ideas in response to client demand.
Our History
Some families have entrusted our care for over 140 years, so the business has formed close relationships with them through four generations; their trust and loyalty is testament to our professionalism, expertise and empathy – qualities that are still the hallmark of John Fraser & Son today.
The Team
The business has a strong team of carefully selected, fully qualified personnel working to deliver our services to the community with sensitivity and respect. We are proud to have two members, each with over 30 years service.
Our strong sense of family values is underpinned by genuine empathy for our clients, and the highest standards of service quality and attention to detail.
A client can contact us at any time of day or night and from the first phone call they'll be talking to someone who will be involved in the funeral arrangements right through to, and including, the day of the funeral.
