PART-TIME FUNERAL OPERATIVE 

We are looking to expand our team with the addition of a part-time Funeral Operative who will help us to consistently deliver a first-class service to the local community.  This position is approx. 15 hours per week, but flexibility is required. 

Duties:

•     Ensure our fleet of funeral vehicles are presented to the highest standard

•     Assist with the conveyance of the deceased from hospitals, care homes and private houses with dignity and compassion 

•     Assist at funeral services including driving and bearing 

•     Participation in the out of hours on call rota, including weekends

•     Heavy lifting is required

Qualities and experience:

•     A kind, caring and compassionate nature 

•     High standards and excellent attention to detail 

•     The ability to work under your own initiative

•     An awareness of client confidentiality 

•     A full UK driving license is essential

•     No previous industry experience is necessary as full training will be provided
