We couldn't be more impressed by our Funeral Assistant Alan and his crewmates from RNLI Kessock who won the 'Monte Carlo... or Bust' Rally.

They threw themselves wholeheartedly into the spirit of the event - not only keeping their ageing car in one piece, but excelling at the daily challenges they faced (one of which included sourcing a pink feather, a boiled egg, a Michael Jackson CD and a perfume sample along the route!)

Highlights of their adventure included a visit to the Fiat test track in Turin and driving the epic winding roads of the mountainous Great St Bernard’s pass - but nothing could have topped the feeling of discovering they had reached their £10,000 fundraising target just as they cruised into Monte Carlo's Casino Square in glorious sunshine!

And of course, the adventure isn't over yet as the team still need to make it back home!
